The Williams Family Update!
Hello!! Back, back, back in the blog! I have been feeling the urge to write again, so dusted off the 'ol blog and got back at it! We are quickly making our way to Christmas, which I can't believe! The years just seem to keep flying by! We are doing our yearly traditions- our countdown to Christmas list, our church activities, and visiting with family. We are also still plugging away at our school work and hoping to be at a midpoint not too far after the new year. Our daily routines have changed a bit since I last posted to this blog. The kids have continued to grow and progress and that makes life a little easier. Jude and I both got jobs, so that impacted our daily schedules as well. I have been working at the library here in our little village and LOVE it! I had worked for 3 years at an after-school remedial reading program in the city near us. I ended up becoming the principal there and while it was EXTREMELY rewarding work, I am so thankful to now be doing work that doesn't linger with me long after I leave the job each day. I love being surrounded by books and getting to chat books with people as my job! Thad is the Worship Arts Pastor at our church now, so we both have pretty flexible hours and places that our kids can be with us while we work! Jude and Elsie are still doing their art classes, Jude and the little boys are still doing archery, and Elsie is still involved in her book club. The little boys will be starting basketball here soon, keep up with their music lessons, and they all do plenty of church activities between our church, friends churches, and our old church- it all keeps us busy and burning up the gas driving all over! We have also tried to be intentional about being home, eating dinner together when we can, and growing together. Family life.....I always feel like I have a good rhythm down and then things change and I have to readjust ;) Well, I am hoping to, if nothing else, have this as an online journal of sorts, and if anyone reads along, I hope you enjoy these ramblings as well!
